Gamal El Sagini
GAMAL AL SAGINI Sculptures

From: 31-10-2010 To: 8-12-2010

Artists are blessed with a gift, that of expressing their experiences for generations to come. They do that using different forms, styles and media, for El Sagini, Art was his only language, His way to transmit a thought, to express a feeling, to communicate an emotion: Art was his life!!

Through his art El Sagini tells his story, his growth, his trials and his Fears, his political and social affiliations. Through his art he describes a specific era in Egypt, but most important he has described how these times affected him and consequently how it affected his Art. By doing that, El Sagini has left behind traces of his existence during pre and post revolution Egypt.

ZAMALEK ART GALLERY is proud and honored to showcase this collection of El Sagini's artworks (32 bronze Sculptures and 8 hammered copper panels).

As you will see, these masterworks mirror a historical era of Egypt, but most of all are a concrete proof that a Master like El Sagini can achieve immortality...
