Born in El Fayoum, in 1963, Mohamed El Fayoumi a figurative sculptor is a member of the Mohmoud  Mokhtar Association, the Cairo Atelier and the syndicate of Plastic Artists.

El Fayoumi took part in many local exhibitions Biennales and symposia since 1990.

Strongly influenced by the local Egyptian heritage, he always attempts to create sensuousness through form. Mostly cheerful, however his works could sometimes be satirical in approach. His work typically voluminous includes portraits and animals.
