About The Gallery

Based in Cairo's cosmopolitan neighborhood of Zamalek, Zamalek Art Gallery has been a hub of modern and contemporary Egyptian art for over 20 years. Its mission is to faithfully represent art pioneers in Egypt and the entire Arab region, as well as providing support and guidance to some of the most promising up-and-coming artists on the scene today.

 

Our ever growing exhibition space now includes a new annex, allowing us to present two simultaneous shows on a monthly basis: one exhibit for our established artists, and another for new talent. This puts us in the privileged position of being able to showcase all the best work we admire and are passionate about, as well as satisfy our clients and visitors. Just as importantly, it allows us to reinforce our key objective, which is to fuel creativity, inspire beauty and ignite minds.

 

In addition to its art consultancy to private homes and institutions both locally and internationally, Zamalek Art Gallery has organized several cultural events and Art projects, chief among which include:

  • Gamal El-Sagini's 100th anniversary, double exhibition at Zamalek Art Gallery and Mahmoud Mokhtar museum, 2017.
  • GazbiaSirry's last Retrospective, 2016.
  • The Art collection of the Le Meridian Pyramids Hotel, 2011.
  • The Art collection of the DusitThani Hotel, Lake View, 2010.
  • The Art collection of the DusitThani Hotel, Lake View, 2010.
  • The Art collection of the Nile City Towers (entrance & offices), 2007.
  • Sharm El Sheikh Congress Hall, (Complete Museum Collection Paintings & Sculptures), 2006.
  • Commission of the Four Season Hotel Nile Plaza Beymen ceiling, 2004.
  • The Art collection of the Four Seasons Hotel Nile Plaza, 2003.
  • A six-month Art Festival celebrating "The 100th Anniversary" of the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan in 1999-2000.
